His Holiness Ngawang Tenzin Rinpoche visited Boulder, CO and other centers around the US during October -December 2007.  His Holiness gave teachings about Tibetan Buddhism and offered commentaries on refuge, Bodhichitta, the Four Noble Truths, Guru Yoga, and following the path of Buddhism.  His Holiness gave several different empowerments and a fire ceremony for purification, clearance of obstacles and showering of blessings.  There was also a first time ceremony, "Compassion Ceremony for Peace and Harmony", that His Holiness presided over.  The ceremony was open to everyone.  The purpose for the ceremony was to chant as many Buddha of Compassion mantras as possible. The mantra helps to engender harmony, allay violence, and increase compassion, love and equanimity.  Over 869,000 mantras were chanted during this ceremony.
